집 안에서 쓰는 Clock은 시간을 크게 보여 주는 웹 화면입니다. 그 옆에는 날씨와 함께 보는 할 일, 선택한 사진이 놓입니다. 앞서 소개한 Day가 일정과 할 일을 모아 다루는 곳이라면, Clock은 그중 지금 집 안에서 볼 내용을 꺼내 놓는 화면입니다.

Clock is a web display I use at home. It shows the time alongside the weather, shared tasks, and selected photos. Day brings schedules and tasks together; Clock puts a small part of that information in view at home.
시간 옆에 놓은 것들
시계는 한국 시각을 보여 줍니다. 할 일에는 공유된 항목 가운데 아직 끝나지 않은 것만 남기고, 미래 날짜의 항목은 제외합니다. 앞으로 해야 할 일을 전부 펼치기보다 지금 볼 목록을 고른 구성입니다. Day에서 내용을 정리하고, Clock에서는 그 결과를 읽습니다.
사진도 같은 화면에 들어갑니다. 선택한 사진을 30초마다 바꿔 보여 주도록 되어 있습니다. 시간을 확인하는 화면에 사진과 일상의 목록이 함께 놓이면서, 집 서버가 다루는 정보가 집 안의 화면까지 이어집니다.

The clock shows Korean time. Its task list includes shared, unfinished items and leaves out future-dated tasks. Information is maintained in Day and read on Clock. Selected photos change every 30 seconds, bringing pictures and a short everyday list into the same display.
켜 둔 화면을 위한 작은 구성
화면은 HTML·CSS·JavaScript로 만들고 nginx로 제공합니다. Day에서 가져오는 표시용 데이터는 60초마다 갱신합니다. 시계의 움직임, 사진 전환, 할 일 갱신은 서로 다른 주기로 돌아갑니다.
사진은 앞뒤 사진을 포함해 최대 세 장만 메모리에 두도록 했습니다. 오래 켜 둘 화면에서 사진이 계속 쌓이지 않게 하는 구성입니다. 서비스 워커는 정적 화면 파일만 캐시합니다. 화면을 불러올 파일을 보관하는 것과 날씨·할 일·사진을 새로 가져오는 것은 따로 다룹니다.

The display uses HTML, CSS, and JavaScript served by nginx. It refreshes the display data from Day every 60 seconds. Time, photo transitions, and task updates therefore run on separate rhythms. At most three photos, including neighboring images, are kept in memory. The service worker caches static display files only; loading the screen and retrieving fresh content are separate operations.
화면이 떠 있는 것과 내용이 최신인 것
Clock에는 연결이 필요한 부분이 남아 있습니다. 날씨와 Day, 사진 저장소를 이용할 수 있어야 각 내용을 가져올 수 있습니다. 정적 파일을 캐시했다고 해서 모든 정보를 오프라인에서도 최신으로 볼 수 있는 것은 아닙니다.
화면을 계속 켜 두는 Wake Lock과 전체 화면 기능도 브라우저 정책의 영향을 받습니다. 집 안에서 사용하는 화면이라도 기기와 브라우저에 따라 확인해야 할 부분이 있습니다. 이 글에 적은 갱신 주기와 동작 구조는 현재 실행 소스를 읽어 확인했으며, 이번 정리에서 실제 기기의 장시간 동작까지 다시 시험하지는 않았습니다.

Weather, Day, and photo storage must be reachable to retrieve their content. Caching the screen’s static files does not keep all information fresh offline. Wake Lock and fullscreen behavior also depend on browser policy. The refresh intervals and structure described here were checked in the currently deployed source; this review did not include a new long-running test on the physical device.
집 안으로 이어지는 작은 화면
Day와 Clock은 같은 정보를 다른 크기로 보여 줍니다. 한쪽에서는 내용을 고르고 고치고, 다른 쪽에서는 시간과 함께 짧게 읽습니다. 집 안의 작은 서버에서 만든 도구가 실제로 놓이는 자리는 이런 화면 하나이기도 합니다.

Day and Clock present the same information at different scales. One is a place to organize and edit; the other keeps a short view beside the time. A screen like this is one of the places where the small tools on the home server meet everyday life.
